Marizol Charles Gomez, Acsenda School of Management

Marizol Charles is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality management at Acsenda School of Management in Vancouver. She also holds a bachelor's degree in international relations with a specialization in tourism from Universidad Autonomy de Nuevo León in Mexico. Additionally, she earned a master's degree in Sustainable Tourism Management with an honorable mention from Universidad Quintana Roo, Academic Unit of Cozumel. Before moving to Canada, Marizol was a professor at the University Riviera in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, in 2019. She played a significant role in directing and co-directing the development of a new online bachelor's degree program at the university. During her master's studies, she actively participated in both international and national presentations focusing on tourism, sustainability, and cultural heritage. Additionally, she contributed to publications and scientific research projects featured in the INNOVAITESCYT Los Cabos magazine. She has over 12 years of experience in the tourism industry, working in both the private sector and the government. In the last three years, she has served as the office manager for a private equity investment fund in real estate and has contributed to publishing articles for the Mexican Association of Private Equity (AMEXCAP). Currently, she is working as an administrative assistant at Wecollabo Immigration in Canada.

Babul Thomas Gomes, Acsenda School of Management

Dr. Babul Thomas Gomes is the Director of the Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) Program at Acsenda School of Management. He brings extensive expertise in hospitality, tourism management, and sustainable tourism development.
