Abstract

Student engagement in Career Services can be a significant challenge for universities; at FDU, we've transformed this challenge into an opportunity for growth and innovation. This session will showcase how FDU's Career Services department has tackled student engagement head-on through a range of impactful initiatives, including a vibrant welcome event, convenient resume drop-in sessions, a career closet providing professional attire, and targeted 'Graduated, Now What?' webinars. We will also highlight the crucial role of cross-departmental collaboration in the success of these programs, demonstrating how teamwork across different university departments can amplify student engagement and create a more supportive and enriching learning environment.
